Your physiotherapist will observe and assess movements as well as any physical conditions to identify any problems and then discuss a treatment plan with you. Further appointments if required will be discussed and treatment may be modified along the way to help reach your treatment goal.

Appointments are 30 minutes duration but depending on nature of injury extended appointments may be needed.

You may be required to remove some clothing to adequately assess injury so we suggest wearing loose and comfortable clothing.

It is recommended to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your first appointment to complete any necessary paperwork etc.

Bring along any relevant paperwork, referrals, xrays, work cover certificates etc..

Also depending on your payment method you may need to bring private health or Medicare card.

No referral is needed if you are receiving treatment as a private patient.

A referral is needed  if seeing your Physio for a work related injury, under a Chronic Disease Management Plan / Enhanced Primary Care Plan (Medicare) or Department of Veteran Affairs.
